Aqua Exclusive™ Bio Filter MBBR 50 PRO
The Aqua Exclusive MBBR 50 PRO is a self cleaning biological filter. This system is designed to be installed behind the RDF 50 PRO, giving you a complete and fully automatic filter system with little to no maintenance.
The MBBR 50 PRO has 150 liters of filter media and can handle up to 1020 grams of fish feed per day! The water is continuously mixed with air/oxygen, while the organic load is degraded biologically by microorganisms. The microorganisms live on the bio-film layer that is formed on and in the floating filter media. Our Moving Bed Bio Reactor is a tested and proven biological filtration solution that allows high oxygen concentration and excellent TAN removal at the smallest possible footprint.
Equipped with our newest air diffuser with reinforced EPDM membrane which creates continuously fine bubbles for oxygen enrichment and turbulence.
